My specialty and my joy is igniting the potential in people. I do this by guiding them through an in-depth exploration of their values, interests, strengths and passion.
My approach is different: it’s a blended model of coaching, teaching, facilitating and consulting. My model is different: it’s an integration of head and heart through a multi-layered program I created called Retirement Clarity.
I believe this depth of self-awareness is essential knowledge and best before an important life transition like retirement; that said, it’s essential at any time.
I am a Retirement Coach as well as a Certified Facilitator of both Lumina Spark and The Passion Test, and a graduate of the Chelaume Healing Arts Centre.
Before responding to my own “nudge“, I held career positions as the Sales & Marketing Director of Page One Publishing and the Communication Manager for the Victoria Hospitals Foundation and Travelodge Canada. My years in advertising, sales, public relations and magazine publishing have included being Associate Publisher for Canada’s Wedding Bells magazine.
Private retirement coaching is offered through Boost Potential and in 2023 I’ll be launching a cohort-based group coaching program for Canadian women who are, or will be, retiring and aging on their own.
In addition to my retirement coaching work, I serve as an associate to Ingrid Bergmann and Associates and also to the Great Performances Group.

My personal life has included lots of volunteering… as Board Chair with Unity Victoria church, President of Soroptimists International, Victoria Westshore; and a 10-year facilitator for Junior Achievement.
After more than 15 years as a Host Mom for international students, I’m now an Airbnb host.
I’m a life-long learner, with particular interest in self-awareness and its role in creating and living a life of alignment and meaning. I share my learnings through my Retirement Clarity program, workshops, and public speaking.

Often offered as a ‘quick-fix’, my use of this powerful tool is slower and customized for the client. Years after clients have worked with me, they can produce a well-worn Passion Card which is still present in their life.
