What’s a ‘cup of tea’ meeting?

When I invite you for a complimentary ‘cup of tea’ meeting – whether in person or virtually, it’s my way of saying let’s meet informally, share some information, and see if we’re a good ‘fit’. What we both want to assess is this:
- will the Retirement Clarity program offer you the tools and process to meet your needs?
- will the coach-client relationship between us be open, honest, and a platform for success?
There’s no obligation. In fact, I ask you to think about it for 24 hours before committing.
There is more information below. Have a look then, come for a cup of tea!
Where is it held?
This complimentary meeting is either held at my home office or virtually. It’s important to me that you experience me and our working environment so you know you’ll be comfortable. About the tea… It’s real if we’re in person and imaginary if we’re virtual 🙂
What do we do?
I’ll share with you information about theRetirement Clarity program and show you some of the component tools I use, which include Lumina Spark and The Passion Test. You’ll provide me with one or two objectives you have for our work together, as well as some context to help me understand why you have these particular goals.
How long does it take?
We’ll be together approximately 45 minutes. After I’ve answered all your questions, I’ll provide you with a folder (or PDF) of information for your review and consideration.
When can I start?
After you leave and have taken some time to reflect on whether you would like to do theRetirement Clarity program, we find a mutually good date we can begin. Most of my clients prefer to meet weekly at a regularly scheduled time. Again, depending on protocols and preferences, we’ll meet either personally or virtually.
