2 Chopsticks
On the almost-eve of a new year, here’s my wish for each of us: 2 chopsticks.
A bit unusual, I know, but this was an important aha! that landed for me just recently and I’d like to share it with you: We are good at making wishes for what we’d like to have more of in our lives…prosperity, abundance, health, time, love, etc.
We have the 1st chopstick: what we hope to attract.
But it takes 2 chopsticks before we have something that actually works. We need the 2nd chopstick: what we need to release.
What are you willing to have less of in your life in order to create the space for the dreamed of, the desired, the hoped for? What belief, person, project or thing are you willing to release?
And if ‘release’ for you also means forgiving (which it often does), I recommend a small, easy-read book of stories, practical advice and exercises written by local author, coach and facilitator, Tammy Dewar: How to Forgive Your Boss (Or Anyone Who Has Done You Wrong).
Releasing. Forgiving. Internal De-cluttering. Space Making. — What a wonderful way to welcome in a 2016 that is abundant with all we dream of… plus 2 chopsticks.
